Before you write
Every session starts with a check-in on how you're doing and what's on your mind. From there we follow the thread together — through conversation, guided reflection, or hands-on creative work, depending on what you're working with. There's no fixed script; the pace and direction are shaped around you.
Yes. What you share stays between us. The only exceptions are the standard safety situations any practitioner is bound by, such as an immediate risk of harm — and if that ever applied, it would be discussed with you directly wherever possible.
Coaching tends to suit people who want structure, accountability and a clear plan toward a goal. Art therapy is a better fit if you're processing something that's hard to put into words, or want a more creative, feeling-led approach. Many people benefit from a blend of both — if you're unsure, a first conversation can help you decide.
No preparation is required. Just come as you are. If something specific is on your mind before we meet, feel free to jot it down, but it's just as fine to arrive with nothing planned at all.
Not at all — no artistic skill or experience is needed. The creative work isn't about producing something polished; it's simply another way to explore what's going on beneath the surface. Whatever you make is exactly right.
It varies from person to person. Some people notice a shift in perspective after just a session or two, while deeper patterns usually take sustained work over several weeks or months. We'll check in regularly on how things are landing for you.
